Kinship Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Kinship ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What We Collect
- Contact information you enter: Names, relationship types, and context notes you add for people you communicate with.
- Messages you paste: Text you paste into Kinship to generate draft replies. This is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate responses and is not stored permanently.
- Usage data: Basic anonymised counts of actions (e.g. drafts generated) to help us improve the product.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your email address or account credentials.
- We do not read your inbox, browser history, or any content you haven't explicitly pasted into Kinship.
- We do not collect financial, health, or location data.
How We Use Your Data
- To generate personalised draft replies using Claude AI (Anthropic).
- To store your contacts and conversation history so drafts improve over time.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
Third-Party Services
Kinship uses Anthropic Claude to generate draft replies. Message text is sent to Anthropic's API and subject to their privacy policy. We use Neon (PostgreSQL) for secure data storage.
Data Retention
Your contacts and conversation history are stored until you delete them. You can delete any contact or conversation at any time from within the app.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting us at mr.dhaval@gmail.com.
